Welcome to my speech room! Walking up to my door this is what you will see...
Once the door is open, you'll see the students work area (directly across from my Promethean Board). My Articulation Ladder is on the wall by the window (It's a freebie in my store, check it out! My students LOVE it), work bins, dry-erase boards, and The Narrative Builder Tool (for my students working on written language).
Sitting down at the student work area, you can either look straight across at the bulletin board (which includes our classroom rules and vowel town charts) and my desk (somewhat clean in this picture). The students can also see any visuals we're working with on the side of the file cabinet. The 1, 2, 3, visuals go with the colored work bins in the picture above. If we use them, I pull them over to the table.
Or you can look to the side to see the Promethean activity for the day, the book shelf (with the books sorted by season and activity), and the clock (loving the minutes on my clock - many of my students struggle reading clocks, so just another visual to help them out).
